  • USAToday: Megaships may replace boats on Lake Nicaragua

    November 28, 2006 // 2 Comments »

I just ran into this article from USA Today describing Nicaragua’s proposal to create a canal that would be deeper than Panama canal, transforming Lake Nicaragua and the island of Ometepe in the process.

Here’s a link on CNN to a story about Nicaragua’s upcoming election.  Please pray for the nation during what could be a time of great upheaval.

Vineyard Nicaragua blog; feeding the poor

    April 21, 2005 // No Comments »

The Vineyard Nicaragua blog has been up for a while. They just posted an interview with Ana Patricia, who leads a ministry which is feeding and serving the poorest of the families and children in the neighborhood of Managua that the church office is in.

They’re doing a fantastic job of serving the poor. I can’t wait to go back to visit and help them.
