Library of Prayer

Library of Prayer

++ God, forbid that I study the topic and don’t enflesh it ++

I set aside most of my books on prayer this evening so I can find them more quickly (still can’t find Celtic Daily Prayer – did I loan it out??). Then I realized that it would be horrifying to study the topic, but not actually be prayerful. God, please forbid it.

2007, for our church, promises to be themed around prayer. Should be a fascinating year to live through.

I remember thinking to myself several years that I wanted to be known as a man of prayer. It eventually occurred to me that it might be better to actually *be* a man of prayer.
