Ten years ago today my dad died at age 49. After fighting cancer for 10 years, a blood clot broke loose and entered his brain, and he died suddenly while telling jokes with friends.
This morning we got a phone call from my mom. My sister Missy is in labor at the hospital, preparing to deliver her first baby, son Taylor.
Shannon and I are marvelling at God’s choice in timing. Life truly is victorious over death in our family today.
