★ Phillip Toledano – Days with My Father
2009 April 14
This may be the most powerful photo essay ever created. I’ve probably even posted it here, but regardless, you’ll want to check it out again. It is the journal and photojournal of a son and his father who has no short-term memory (not Alzheimer’s, but it must be similar).

That is absolutely stunning and deeply moving. What a tremendous memorial for his father (and his mother) and what a wonderful way Phillip Toledano has recorded his feelings and his memories. Many thanks for posting the photo essay.
