★ Where is Jesus tonight?

I’m wondering if tonight the Jesus of North Bend is dealing cards to the chain smokers at the new Snoqualmie tribal casino, bartending at the Sure Shot tavern and listening to stories from the lady who just lost her job, or cleaning up meth addicts in the woods up Middle Fork Road, or holding the second grader in my housing development whose parents are screaming again and threatening divorce.
One thing’s for sure though – he’s nearby. I can feel him.
