As a cradle atheist until I was 37 years old and former evangelical Protestant in the Reformed tradition until I was 57 years old, I found the Catholic church to be a source of deep and ancient spirituality — much different than the common non-Catholic impressions. I am now a Benedictine oblate at a Catholic monastery in Florida. Very interesting topic, I wish you much success.
