We spent the better part of an hour like that. When it was time to go, I looked into his eyes and told him (and vowed to myself) that I would never forget him. He informs many of the decisions I make now. I am still in the early stages of change, but seeing Jesus in a small, fragile body with brown skin made everything look different.
