- My son’s giggle
- Discovering new music
- That moment in lectio divina when you realize you’ve stumbled into something sacred
- Apple pie
- Lighting too many candles
- The zen moment when I’m on a motorcycle and it’s just me, the bike, the road and the moment
- Loading up a photo and realizing that it’s as good as I hoped for
- Walking along the river
- My feet in warm sand
- My daughter’s sparkling eyes
- Sunny skies in Seattle
- Planning the next travelling trip
- A quiet moment holding my wife
- Great street art
- Studying elderly peoples’ hands
- Buying a new book I can’t wait to read
- Spending time with friends and no agenda
- A good handcrafted beer
- My wife’s cheesecake and/or apple pie
- Driving/riding fast. Or, at least briskly
- Learning something that makes me change
- The interior life
- People-watching (and its siamese twin, street photography)
- “Pondering these things in the heart”
- Guitar shopping
