★ In the last week
2004 August 30
In the last week, our church has:
- invited God’s blessing upon 5 children of varying ages in our dedication ceremony
- potlucked once to celebrate those children
- experienced a diagnosis of lymphoma
- seen a friend prepare to go away for rehab
- Gained two more families (30s and 60s)
In the next week, we plan to:
- baptize 3 adults
- potluck twice more (for Alpha celebration dinner, and after the baptisms)
- begin to advertize for couples workshop and Alpha courses starting in mid-Sept
- gather a leadership core together and rebuild it
And who knows what else will happen…
