★ Prioritizing finances
We’re still trying to recover from our financial investment in Alpha weekend a month or so back. In the next month we restart Alpha and restart our marriage workshop – both of which need $$ invested in printed materials and advertising (oooh, that word again 
)
A week from tonight is our Alpha celebration dinner.
We also have baby dedications this weekend and baptisms the weekend after that. We have talked these up in our group, and talked a lot about the lunches we’ll have after them.
After a year of building our own, we finally bought some prepackaged kids church curriculum.
With all these things happening, it’s hard to prioritize how to spend limited finances. But we’re going full-steam ahead with the meals (though we’ll be doing them more as potluck than the church-buys-everything). I’m really a strong believer in shared meals as relationship building moments.
We might be a week late in getting our alpha and marriage workshop materials in place (though I hope not), but we’ll deal with that when the time comes.
